Asian Water: Can you briefly describe your company and what are the products that you are exhibiting at ASIAWATER 2024?
Blue-White: For more than 67 years, Blue-White Industries, located in Huntington Beach, California USA, has been a leading manufacturer of equipment for the chemical treatment of water and wastewater, and for fluid measurement. At ASIAWATER 2024, the Company will be exhibiting products from both their Chemical Dosing Pump and Flow Meter product lines. These products are engineered to simplify chemical feed and fluid measurement, and Blue-White Chemical Dosing Pumps provide the excellent accuracy and repeatability that are required with water related processes.
Asian Water: How do you view the water industry in the Asia Pacific region?
Blue-White: Water is a vital component for life, as well as being essential to ensure economic growth, public health, and food security. With the ever-increasing growth on the entire Asian continent, water security is essential. As more of the population migrate to the region’s economic centres, water networks must be prepared to meet the demand for both potable water, and to properly treat and remediate waste water. Blue-White manufactures the Chemical Dosing Pumps to help ensure both sustainability and water recovery efforts, and we are anxious to assist in providing the equipment and technical support required for the growing infrastructures.
Asian Water: What are the challenges faced by the industry and how does your company provide the solutions to these challenges?
Blue-White: With 90% of the region in a water crisis, and with nearly 75% of Asia experiencing water insecurity (Asian Development Bank), it is crucial to include solutions which are aimed at sustaining the available water supply. By incorporating the proper equipment, which will treat both potable water and treat both public and industrial waste water, the deficit currently seen in the water supply can be curbed, and there are ever expanding methods of water remediation to be utilized. The ability to accurately dose water treatment chemicals, and to measure fluid flow, is an important step in limiting any further negative affects to Asian Water resources.
