Participation in this exhibition was done to promote Indo Water in Dubai, and highlight Napindo’s commitment to global collaboration. By engaging with various stakeholders and connecting with thousands of industry leaders actively pursuing innovative solutions, Indo Water 2026 Expo & Forum team fostered meaningful partnerships and exchanged knowledge and best practices in water and wastewater technology.

The visit was designed to strengthen Indo Water’s international networks by meeting with key stakeholders, industry leaders and potential participants from across the water, energy and environment sectors. It also served as an opportunity to gather first-hand insights into the latest global innovations, trends and technologies that can inspire and enrich the Indo Water 2026 Expo & Forum in Jakarta.

Indonesia has made notable progress in clean water access. According to BPS Statistics Indonesia, the percentage of households with access to drinking water increased to 92.64% in 2024, reflecting steady improvement driven by infrastructure investment and government programmes. However, challenges remain to achieve the long-term target of 100% universal access by 2045. With these conditions, Indonesia is opening opportunities for technology transfer, innovation and international partnerships in areas such as advanced treatment technologies, digital water monitoring, non-revenue water reduction and integrated wastewater management.
