Taiwan International Water Week 2025 Kicks Off on October 29 in Taipei — Explore Cutting-Edge Water Solutions in Taiwan

Organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taiwan International Water Week (TIWW 2025) will take place from October 29 to 31, 2025, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre (TaiNEX), Hall 1, 4F.

TIWW is a water trade show in Taiwan that provides a one-stop sourcing and networking platform for professionals worldwide. This year, TIWW focuses on Smart Water, Sustainable Development and Net-Zero Transition, bringing together upstream and downstream players in the water industry to showcase cutting-edge solutions and applications for sectors with high water consumption, including semiconductors, energy, manufacturing, civil engineering, medical, chemicals and construction.

Smart Water Drives Industrial Upgrades and Resilience
According to the OECD’s 2025 report, Asia is one of the regions with the highest potential for water innovation. Achieving sustainable economic growth in this region will depend on robust water resource management. TIWW 2025 showcases innovative solutions, including wastewater treatment, smart water monitoring, industrial water efficiency, ESG strategies, seawater desalination and water recycling—painting a comprehensive vision for the future of water.

TIWW 2025 brings together the entire water industry ecosystem, offering a comprehensive range of solutions spanning from essential components and equipment to fully integrated system planning.

Notable exhibitors such as AVK, Gardner Denver, TSURUMI PUMP and BLUESEN will present valves, blowers, pumps, meters and other essential components that support the core of water infrastructure. Leading water treatment providers like Suez, Veolia, Cox, France Evaporation, SINOTECH ENGINEERING, KUO TOONG INTERNATIONAL, LCY Chemical and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) will demonstrate the latest innovations in advanced water treatment and desalination technologies. In addition, Xylem, Solteam, FINETEK and FENRI will showcase smart water solutions, featuring advanced monitoring systems and intelligent water management technologies.

Net-Zero Momentum: New Sustainability Hub Leads the Shift
According to a study published in the 2025 issue of Sustainability, an open-access journal by MDPI, found that urban water systems, which include both water supply and wastewater treatment, emit significant amounts of CO₂-equivalent greenhouse gases annually. More than 80 percent of these emissions come from the wastewater treatment process. Meanwhile, Water UK estimates that water-related infrastructure accounts for nearly 10% of global GHG emissions, making the water sector a critical battleground for decarbonization.

In response, TIWW 2025 is introducing a brand-new Sustainability Hub in partnership with the British Standards Institution (BSI), offering on-site consulting and ESG-related certification services focused on energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and water recycling. The hub will also unveil the AquaImpact shortlist, recognising exhibitors who demonstrate outstanding sustainability efforts, and feature live presentations on sustainable water governance.

Unlock Business Opportunities Across Asia’s Water Ecosystem
Beyond the extensive exhibits, TIWW 2025 offers a diverse array of activities throughout the trade show, designed to enhance cross-sector collaboration and accelerate market entry for global participants:

  • International Forum
  • Sustainability Workshop
  • Procurement Meetings
  • TIWW Tech Talk

These on-site events provide valuable opportunities for industry professionals to discover new solutions, forge strategic partnerships and gain a competitive edge in the booming water market.

As water plays an increasingly central role in global net-zero strategies, TIWW 2025 serves as a gateway for international businesses to collaborate with water enterprises not only in Taiwan but also across Asia and beyond. Whether your focus is market expansion, product sourcing, or ESG transformation, TIWW 2025 is your must-attend event for future-ready water solutions.
