Molecor Obtains the Environmental Product Declaration for the EVAC+® Evacuation System
Molecor has been obtained the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for another of the flagship products in its extensive range of PVC plastic solutions for water: EVAC+®, a domestic drainage system developed by the company for the building industry. This Environmental Declaration follows those already obtained for Molecor’s AR® Soundproof Evacuation System, TOM® pipes and ecoFITTOM® molecularly oriented PVC fittings, as well as its SANECOR® corrugated sewage system and TR6® irrigation pipes.
This voluntary certification once again demonstrates the company’s firm commitment to sustainability and assessing the impact of its operations in the plastic pipe industry. The EVAC+® Evacuation System is regarded as a comprehensive, flexible solution that includes a wide range of pipes and fittings designed to ensure optimal safety, efficiency and ease of installation. It is particularly noteworthy because its pipes and fittings have a Euroclass B-s1, d0 fire safety rating, making it a reliable solution in the event of fire. Its light weight makes it quick to install on site and it is also compatible with the AR® soundproof system.
This system complies with the UNE-EN 1329-1 and UNE-EN 1453-1 standards for pipes with compact and structured walls respectively, with diameters ranging from DN32mm to DN315mm. The EVAC+® features special accessible parts that comply with the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE), and it includes barcode identification on small-diameter pipes to improve their traceability.
