SIWW2022 to return as an in-person event
The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) is set to return as an in-person event from 17 to 21 April 2022 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
With the gradual easing of event restrictions and the resumption of international business travel, SIWW2022 will be one of the first international water shows to be held in-person in the Asia-Pacific since the pandemic. Expected to attract over 15,000 attendees, the event will gather over 350 international exhibitors and a distinguished line up of water leaders, experts, and practitioners to co-create innovative urban water solutions and generate new business opportunities around key thematic areas such as climate resilience, resource circularity and digital water.
SIWW2022 aims to spur collective action by the water sector to build resilience against climate impacts and create a sustainable water future.
The SIWW has currently confirmed speakers including distinguished government officials such as Ms Michèle Blom, Vice Minister, Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands, His Excellency Long Naro, Director General of Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority and Mr Jose Victor Emmanuel A. De Dios, President and CEO of Manila Water
Dr Soumya Swaminathan, Chief Scientist, World Health Organization will speak at a keynote presentation. The SIWW also welcomes long-standing experts in the global water industry from companies such as Xylem, SUEZ, Jacobs, Anaergia and Booky Oren Global Water Technologies. Flagship programmes and platforms at SIWW comprise of: The Water Leaders’ Summit, The Water Convention, The Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize 2020, The Water Expo, Thematic and Business Forums, TechXchange and Technical Site Visits.
