Blue-White Rolls Out Major Enhancements to CHEM-FEED® C2 Single Diaphragm Dosing Pumps
Blue-White Industries has announced significant updates to its CHEM-FEED® C2 Single Diaphragm Dosing Pump lineup, boosting functionality, durability and compliance for industrial and potable water applications. The enhancements expand on an already proven platform that delivers reliable chemical dosing performance across a wide range of processes.
At the core of the updated C2 pumps are newly available 4–20 mA input/output and motor-active relay capabilities, enabling enhanced communication with automation and control systems. This opens the door for more integrated process control, allowing remote adjustments and monitoring through SCADA or similar distributed control systems — a feature increasingly vital in modern water and process treatment facilities.
Another major milestone for the C2 series is NSF/ANSI 61 certification, meaning all C2 models now meet stringent standards for materials and performance suitable for potable water service. This listing expands the pump’s applicability into municipal and drinking water systems where regulatory compliance is mandatory, while maintaining the reliable performance that users expect.
In addition to control and compliance upgrades, Blue-White has built on its robust mechanical design by standardising its DiaFlex® diaphragm technology across the C2 series. Patented for long life and chemical resistance, the DiaFlex diaphragm is engineered to endure heavy duty use without frequent rebuilds, minimising maintenance costs and downtime.
The pumps also include Diaphragm Failure Detection (DFD) with built-in leak detection — a critical safety feature that senses diaphragm rupture by detecting fluid inside the pump head and can trigger alarms or automatic shutdowns.
Built for quiet, precise chemical metering against pressures up to 175 PSI, the enhanced C2 pumps feature user-friendly backlit LCD controls, flexible control methods (manual, remote analog/digital) and rugged NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosures for washdown environments.
These improvements make the CHEM-FEED C2 a more versatile and durable solution for water treatment, chemical processing, industrial manufacturing and any application requiring dependable chemical dosing with advanced control and monitoring capabilities.
