Jacobs to Enhance Wastewater System Performance for Oklahoma City

Integrated services to optimise long-term performance of critical wastewater infrastructure serving communities across the region.

Jacobs has been selected by the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT) to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the city’s wastewater facilities and solids management programme under a five-and-a-half-year contract, supporting reliable wastewater services for Oklahoma City and six neighbouring communities.

Jacobs will operate and maintain four wastewater treatment facilities with a combined treatment capacity of more than 110 million gallons per day, a regional pump station and associated solids management programmes, including biosolids disposal and septage receiving services.

As one of the region’s fastest-growing metropolitan areas, Oklahoma City faces increasing demand on its wastewater infrastructure. By integrating operational insight, asset management and digital capabilities, we’ll support reliable day-to-day performance, while helping OCWUT prioritize investment, strengthen regulatory compliance and manage its infrastructure for the long-term.

Building on its long-standing relationship with OCWUT, Jacobs will implement enhanced maintenance practices and data-informed planning to improve operations and asset reliability while informing OCWUT’s capital improvement priorities.
