Aquatech Asia 2026 Debuts in Bangkok: Connecting Southeast Asia with the Future of Water

This November, Aquatech Asia 2026 will make its debut in Bangkok, creating a new international platform connecting Southeast Asia’s growing water challenges with the technologies, expertise and partnerships needed to address them. Taking place from 25-27 November 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC), the inaugural edition will bring together water professionals, technology providers, utilities, government representatives, engineers, consultants, investors and industry leaders from across Southeast Asia and beyoand. Admission to the exhibition is free with online pre-registration.

As climate change, rapid urbanisation, industrial development and water scarcity place increasing pressure on the region, Aquatech Asia will provide a business and knowledge platform where technology, expertise, policy, finance and implementation meet. Visitors will be able to explore solutions spanning water and wastewater treatment, industrial water reuse, flood and drought resilience, water infrastructure, smart and digital water, climate adaptation and nature-based solutions.

Knowledge will be another central pillar of Aquatech Asia 2026. The high-level conference programme, under the theme “From Flood Risk to Flood Resilience: Planning, Financing and Implementing Smarter Water Systems,” will bring together perspectives from government, utilities, engineering, finance and technology to exchange knowledge and build partnerships for a more water-resilient Southeast Asia.

A key opening-day session, “Climate Change, El Niño and Southeast Asia’s Water Future: Understanding the Risks, Preparing for Resilience,” will examine how climate change, droughts, floods and water security challenges are reshaping the region, and how governments, industry and the wider water sector can strengthen preparedness and resilience.

Across the programme, discussions will explore integrated water management, climate resilience, water quality, circular water solutions, desalination, coastal resilience, digital water systems and nature-based solutions. Highlights include a Dutch-Thai flagship session on long-term delta planning, alongside dedicated content on financing water infrastructure and scaling innovation across the ASEAN region.

Beyond the conference, the exhibition floor will connect visitors with technologies and solution providers across the full water cycle, including water and wastewater treatment, industrial water reuse, smart water management, flood and drought resilience, infrastructure, digitalisation and climate adaptation. AquaStage content sessions, networking opportunities, international pavilions and meetings with suppliers, partners and decision-makers will give visitors further opportunities to discover solutions, exchange knowledge and build business connections across the region.
