Singapore-based Liquinex Group wins global water award

Singapore-based Liquinex has welcomed a steady stream of opportunities and partnerships to go along with the award.

As winners of the Dubai-based Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum global water award, the group has also presented their products in the biggest stages worldwide, including as invitees of the Singapore Government. Above all, they have been able to commercialize the award-winning ‘Company Water Purification System’ (CWPS) and provide potable water to the thirsty in water-scarce regions.

The World Health Organization revealed in 2015 that a newborn dies every minute from infection caused by lack of safe water and an unclean environment. Meanwhile, United Nations data states that nearly half the global population experience water scarcity at least one month per year, of which 73% live in Asia.

Winning the prestigious award, it has elevated the brand identity and advanced the mission of Liquinex Group Pte Ltd in addressing the global water scarcity issue with innovative technologies. 

CEO and Technical Director of the Singapore water treatment and recycling group, Mr. Bashir Ahmad said ever since winning the award, interest in Liquinex has flowed and they connected to the reservoir of people solving water-related problems. The win continues to carry them in their mission to offer clean water anywhere from a suitcase.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced the award to encourage companies like Liquinex and leading corporations, research centers, institutions, and innovators from across the world to compete in finding sustainable solutions to water scarcity.
