2ND Waste Management Sustainability Forum 2021 To Be Held in Kuala Lumpur This September

In collaboration with the Minister of KPKT (YB DATUK HAJAH ZURAIDAH KAMARUDDIN), the Deputy Director General of JPSPN (Abdul Nasir bin Abdul Aziz) and The Director General of the Department of Environment (Puan Norlin Jaafar), the Organizer of the 2nd waste Management Sustainability Forum (CT Event Asia) is determined to highlight the challenges on plastic waste crisis, cost reduction techniques on Hazardous waste, Evolution of Waste to Energy Projects, Anchor Green Growth on Waste Management, and the latest implementation policies cost-covid 19 when it comes to handling waste in Malaysia.
The 2nd waste Management Sustainability Forum is a National gathering, Conference, and exhibition that promotes the development of Waste Industry. The Forum will bring together C-level Industry leaders, Waste Management Experts and professionals, policymakers, leading Waste Management Companies, and public sector representatives to discuss issues of importance to the development of the Waste sector in the region.
This Forum will serve as an exclusive knowledge-exchange platform engaging waste management professionals and experts for a day of conversations on shaping the new norm for waste management which will be followed by an interactive post-conference workshop to provide attendees with necessary tools and deep learning on next generation waste strategies.
For this Second-round Meeting, the Forum is organized under the theme “Empowering Sustainable Waste Management for the New Normal” shared Mr Camara, Managing Director of CT Event Asia.
When asked about the reasons behind organizing this event, the Managing Director of CT Event Asia, Bangaly Camara said: “An increase in waste generation is identified as a fast-growing problem causing significant damage to the environment, aquatic ecosystem and human health. As we battle the COVID-19 pandemic, it is vital for all stakeholders to use sustainable waste transformation strategies based on waste recovery & reuse to achieve a Circular Economy and to create new revenue models”.
The 2nd Waste Management Sustainability Forum will be held on 28-29 September 2021 at the Royale Chulan Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
