Veolia Announces Appointment of Nicole Springer to Lead Strategic Mobile Water & Integrated Services Business
- Veolia announces a key appointment to accelerate the development of its Integrated Services business, a cornerstone of the Group’s water technologies portfolio delivering mission-critical solutions for industrial and municipal clients.
- This strategic nomination also supports Veolia’s ambition to expand its mobile water services offering and strengthen its position as the leading partner for clients’ water continuity and emergency response needs.
Veolia is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicole Springer as CEO of Mobile Water and Integrated Services for its water technologies activities. In this role, Springer will lead the global business line dedicated to services and mobile units, accelerating the deployment of Veolia’s unique mobile fleet — one of the largest in the industry — and expanding its emergency response capabilities, helping clients ensure business continuity while meeting increasingly stringent environmental requirements.
Springer joins Veolia from Xylem, where she most recently led the utility services division in North America. During her six-year tenure, she also served as General Counsel in Singapore before successfully transitioning to general management in Budapest.
As part of its strategic programme GreenUp 24-27, Veolia has identified water technologies and new solutions as a dedicated booster — alongside decarbonised energy production and hazardous waste management — and is accelerating investments in this high-growth market. As one of the world’s leading providers of both water services and water technologies, Veolia continues to strengthen its position by developing innovative solutions that address the growing challenges of water scarcity and industrial sustainability.
“The appointment of Nicole Springer marks an important step in our strategy to strengthen our services offering,” said Anne Le Guennec, CEO of Veolia’s water technologies activities. “Her proven track record in developing customer-centric solutions and driving operational excellence will be key as we expand our mobile fleet and emergency response capabilities through significant investments to support our clients’ critical operations worldwide.”
I am honoured to join Veolia at this pivotal time. The Mobile Water and Integrated Services business has unique assets and capabilities to address growing market needs for flexible, reliable water solutions. I look forward to working with the teams to accelerate growth and innovation in this strategic activity.
