The tablets sink to the bottom, where sludge usually builds up, and release their active ingredients slowly over time to keep the process going. Do I Need a Shock Dose or Maintenance Dose?
Dosage of BIOBOOSTER SR™ varies from industry to industry and depends on sludge volume, sludge rate accumulation and temperature. Typically, if sludge has already become a problem, a shock dose of five to seven pails of BIOBOOSTER SR™ should be added per 1,000m2 of pond volume, followed by a two-and-a-half to four pail maintenance dose every one to three months. If sludge has not yet accumulated significantly, a maintenance dose can help keep the problem from getting out of hand.
