Gradiant Secures Major Water Contract for Hyperscaler AI Data Centre Campus in West Texas
As AI data centre capacity races to keep pace with compute demand, water has become one of the sharpest constraints on where, and how fast, new facilities can be built. Nowhere is that clearer than West Texas, where a hyperscale data centre campus is rising in a region with limited water to spare.
Gradiant, the water layer of the AI economy, recently announced a new contract to deliver a full turnkey water and wastewater package for one of the world’s largest hyperscalers’ data centre campus in West Texas, covering potable water supply and wastewater treatment as a single accountable partner. It’s the latest in a string of data centre wins Gradiant has secured with leading hyperscalers this year.
The win adds to Gradiant’s data centre portfolio built around HyperSolved, its integrated cooling water platform for AI data centres, combining treatment technologies, CURE Chemicals and SmartOps. The new contract is part of a broader, publicly reported multi-billion-dollar investment reshaping the region.

The zero-surface-discharge design offers a template beyond this one site: proof that hyperscale campuses can expand in water-scarce regions without adding pressure to local supply. This is a model increasingly central to how Gradiant scales the water layer for data centres.
