MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL WATER CONVENTION 2021 VIRTUAL

The Malaysian Water Association and the PROTEMP Group will be welcoming water professionals to The Malaysia International Water Convention 2021 (MIWC 2021) from September 20 – 24, 2021.

This is a biennial convention where the water industry will chart its transformation journey to reach new heights. MIWC 2021 Virtual will be officiated by YB Dato’Sri Tuan Ibrahim bin Tuan Man, Minister of Environment and Water, Malaysia on September 20 at 8.45am.

MIWC 2021 is supported by the Ministry of Environment and Water, and The National Water Services Commission. Themed “Navigating the Future of Water in the New Norm”, this year’s convention has attracted more than 80 experts from around the world who would share their insights, experiences and technologies which will drive the digital revolution, enabling water utilities to adopt a smarter approach to water and wastewater management, integrating digital technologies into water services.

MIWC 2021 is where the water and wastewater industry get together to share their insights and country experiences, discover technologies and innovations, develop collaboration in research and development, and enhance human capital in the water industry.

This year, MIWC 2021 will be collaborating with the International Greentech and amp; Eco Products Exhibition and amp; Conference Malaysia (IGEM 2021), with keynotes and dialogue sessions will be streamed on both platforms. Both events are supported by the Ministry of Environment and Water, Malaysia. Attendees can easily move across platforms to participate in free-to-attend sessions and talks, and visit the booths of sponsors and exhibitors.

Members of the media and visitors are also welcomed to attend the 7 keynote sessions, 4th Malaysia-The Netherlands Water Dialogue, SPAN dialogue, and more than 20 tech sessions.

MIWC 2021 will offer five jam-packed days filled with a wide range of utility and industry-specific content, with a focus on water reforms in navigating the new norms in order to stay resilient and sustainable.

Visitors will benefit from free and unlimited access to the event covering both the visit of the exhibition, networking opportunities and attendance to the keynotes, tech sessions, and dialogues.
